All services will be tailorer to each and every individual organization. Our customers will never be passive recipients, we invite them to take active part in evaluating and developing their organizations.

Before every workshop or training Seymour consultants will conduct the surveys needed to design the contents. After the project we will provide a report of the development and a proposal for future actions.

Examples of our services

Culture

A survey of organizational culture that allows the organization to design actions to  develop the culture either internally or together with Seymour Consulting.

The organization will gain a true understanding of it’s culture which in turn will make it possible to develop the culture or some aspects of the culture.

The survey will be done using for example ethnograpgy or interviews, depending on the organization and it’s needs. The findings will be presented in a written report. This service can be combined with organizational culture development service.

The service is designed to be a series of at least six workshops accommodating 10 – 15 participants. The journey starts with giving the participants the tools to understand the cultural practices in their own organization and then the ability to start transforming these practices and actions for a better organizational culture.

Taking the journey will result in a more reflexive organization. The individuals are able to find trust in others and in the organization and vice versa. The more lean and flexible practices designed during the journey will transform the whole organizational culture.

 

Flexibility, trust and a sense of ownership will in the long run result in savings in recruitment costs and create an innovative organization.

We hate the word change resistance becase more often it’s about mutually contradicting assumptions of the situation and the right actions.

Since change always aims for something better we feel that even the most stubborn contratian deserves to be a constructive part of the change.

Workshops for change resistance will be tailored to suit the organization’s needs. The service includes mapping the situation, lectures and development workshops to  merge old and new ways or working.

The aim is to allow everyone to positively take part in the change to bring together different aspects and expectations.

Even when the ways of working change the understanding will increase the feeling of control and reduce change resistance and confrontation.

Teams

This one-day workshop will introduce the concept of practice to a team (3-12 persons). The team will learn how practices guide human actions and develop alternatives to the deeply rooted practices using for example theatre and other methods.

As well as providing a fun day, this service will offer the team new tools to evaluate and develop their ways of working. This service is especially beneficial for established teams and supervisors.

This half day workshop promotes team spirit by allowing the team members to interact and get to know each other in a new way that builds trust and collaboration. The service is especially good for new teams or cross-functional project teams, for example multiorganizational or multi-national teams and projects, product development teams and strategy teams. The lenght and number of workshops will can be increased when needed.

This service is focused on identifying the critical points of leadership or processes that might weigh your organization down. All findings are presented in an actionable summary with develompent suggestions. Mapping critical practices is a starting point for organizational development work. The service is tailored to fit organizations size, functions or other special features.
